Yan-Han Wang is an Executive Board Member of the Taiwan Sex Industry & Workers’ Rights Association and currently serves as Co-Convenor of Green Party Taiwan. She holds a Master of Laws from the Graduate Institute of Law and Interdisciplinary Studies at National Chengchi University, where her master’s thesis examined legal consciousness and agency in the context of workplace sexual harassment. She is pursuing a PhD in the Department of Politics and International Studies at SOAS University of London. Her research lies at the intersection of social movements, gender studies, law and society, and Taiwan studies. Her doctoral project focuses on how a new generation of sex workers’ rights activists utilise strategies to challenge state power.
