Shu Ching Chuang is currently a gender equity education instructor and a member of gender equality committees at both central government ministries and local governments, with a long-standing focus on relationship education, sexuality education, the transformation of traditional customs and practices, and the rights of pregnant students. She is skilled at translating rigorous research, government statistics, and laws and regulations into innovative teaching perspectives. She is also an avid recreational runner who enjoys challenging herself and actively engages with issues of gender equality and inclusive spaces in sports. By bridging practice with policy advocacy, she hopes to advance gender-equitable access to the right to participate in sports and pave the way toward a more inclusive and equitable sporting environment for people of diverse backgrounds.
