Izzaty Ishak is a Project Manager leading the consent education strategy within SPACE, AWARE’s Community Engagement Department. A practitioner of Asset-Based Community Development and Theatre of the Oppressed, she collaborates with diverse professionals to create trauma-informed consent education tailored for Singaporean youth. Izzaty has extensive experience working with marginalized groups—including low-income families and incarcerated individuals—to explore vital community issues. Her mission is to make consent education universally accessible, regardless of circumstances. By doing so, she aims to reduce gender-based sexual violence and encourage proactive help-seeking behaviors for both victim-survivors and perpetrators.
