Anne Goh is a human rights defender working at the intersection of education, equity, and social justice. With over two decades of experience as an educator and high-performance sports coaching director, she has been committed to creating inclusive learning environments that empower young people to understand diversity, challenge inequality, and advocate for themselves and others. Her work spans curriculum design, teacher development, and community engagement, with a focus on embedding values of respect, dignity, and inclusion into education systems. Beyond the classroom, Anne actively contributes to regional and global advocacy efforts, including participation in United Nations processes and grassroots movements advancing gender and LGBTQ+ rights. She works to translate policy into practice by designing workshops, supporting educators, and building communities that foster safe and affirming spaces for all learners. She believes that education is a powerful tool for social transformation, particularly when it includes comprehensive sexuality education that is rights-based, inclusive, and context-sensitive. Her approach combines strategic leadership with deep care for community, ensuring that programmes are both impactful and grounded in lived realities. She is driven by the vision of education systems that do not just teach, but liberate.
